I am a Post-Doctoral Psychology Fellow who earned my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology (PsyD) from Felician University, an American Psychological Association–accredited program. My dissertation examined the impact of stress and trauma on firefighters in Northern New Jersey during the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting my commitment to supporting individuals who work and live in high-stress, high-risk environments.
I have extensive experience providing psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and social concerns. Throughout my clinical training, I have worked with clients navigating trauma, medical challenges, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, and everyday life stressors. I also have experience addressing neurodevelopmental and cognitive concerns, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, traumatic brain injury, cognitive impairment, and dementia. My clinical work has taken place in diverse settings, including outpatient practices, hospitals, medical and rehabilitation centers, intensive outpatient programs, and community clinics.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I work closely with clients to identify meaningful goals and explore the thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that may be interfering with their well-being or sense of fulfillment. I aim to help individuals recognize their strengths, build effective coping skills, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress, transitions, and emotional challenges. While reducing symptoms is an important part of treatment, I also focus on addressing underlying beliefs that contribute to distress in order to support lasting growth and resilience.
